2022, Espérance de Trotanoy, AOC POMEROLFruit forward and approachable after just a few years of cellaring, but maintains the depth, complexity and concentration of flavour that are characteristic of Trotanoys terroir. Subdued on the opening, hidden power and a sweet core of blackberry and red cherry fruit, a kick of spice, does not have the purity and depth of its big brother, but this is a great quality Pomerol that is packed with personality, and has an enjoyable grilled fennel finish.
