Description

Railsback Freres Les Rascasses Rose 2022

Bob and Alex Phillips

among others

bacon fat and black cherry all interplay on the nose

then aged in 50% old oak casks and 50% concrete eggs and aged for another 12 months in concrete eggs

racy wine with an elegantly satiny attack

one of the highest parcels in the appellation

not too heavy

integrated tannins

which struggles to reach the top catch-wire

through the trials and tribulations of over 200 years

all decisions were made by father and daughter together

Works well as an aperitif
