Copal / Young Amber with insect inclusionsA lovely piece of gemmy golden Copal featuring approximately 50 insect inclusions. The species seen within include termites (Isoptera) and tiny flies (Diptera). The close up photos on this piece reveal some of the most detailed and beautiful insects due to a few crystal clear areas for viewing. I must point out that these crystals of Vauxite show the most electric neon blue color that I've seen for the species

antimony sulfosalt and was named for the Hungarian mineral collector Andor von Semsey (1833-1923)

Certainly a unique and worthwhile specimen for a collector of Bolivian minerals or rare phosphates
