Why I Love This Pattern: The theme of the year in 2003 was the Mediterranean Sea and on this scarf we see a gorgeous stylized motif of just that

this self-taught artist took several paths before he started to draw

Some discoloration at tops of pleats on border

Each detail tells a story

our noses freeze

gourds which become drinking bowls when halved

it then allows the poet to take off in his turn

But from another perspective - a bird's-eve view - we see a horizontal motif: a landscape
