These little orbs were painted during a seaside summer and are reminiscent of jellyfish or birds flying south at the end of the season

this pattern reminds Sarah of the stone walls which line the familiar New England landscape where her family has had roots since the 17th century

so she borrowed mom’s gouache and substituted brushes with cosmetic cotton pads to make her mark
